I am a Bulgarian visual artist based in Rome, Italy. My skills are mainly centered around photography, photo retouch, illustration, and graphic and video design. I love both digital and analog and I excel working with mixed media.
I was born in 1986 in Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria. In 2009 I got a BA in Visual Arts with specialization in painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts in my hometown. During my training, I had the opportunity to spend four months as an Erasmus student in Kaunas, Lithuania, where I specialized in leather design. In 2007 I worked for Bulgarian Philately, preparing an illustration for print and commemorative envelope to mark the anniversary of the founding of the Varna Aquarium. In 2013 I graduated with an MA in design, visual communication and multimedia at the “Sapienza” University of Rome, Italy. In my final thesis I designed the visual identity of the Bulgarian cultural institutes abroad. I travel a lot and do not have difficulties to live and work in an international environment. I spent six months in Slovenia with the European Voluntary Service, working as a photographer and graphic designer for a local cultural organization. I have participated in numerous collective exhibitions in Italy and several solo exhibitions in Slovenia and Rome. My works are published in exhibition catalogs in Poland and Italy. I am currently working as a photographer, graphic and web designer for the home&living sector and event photographer.
